![]() I don't think it's outputting anything below 60Hz to my speakers. There's a track I play to test bass output, and while the old X58A-UD3R couldn't deliver the deepest range of lows, I'm really not hearing any bass output through my full-range speakers with this track. Just built a new rig featuring the Maximus VI Hero and started playing some music. Sound was full, bass was deep and rich, highs crisp and clear. My sound output on mu full-range speakers with that board left little to complain about. I came from a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R, another board with Realtek sound. I know that's the first thing people will ask, so I'm getting that out of the way now. ![]() I've installed the Realtek Audio drivers, and have tweaked a bit using the Realtek HD Audio Manager. I just want to make sure I haven't missed something.
